AutoBox TV · Mac + any television

Your TV becomes a scored gym floor.

AutoBox TV turns a TV, an Apple Watch, and whatever’s bolted to your garage floor into a live, scored gym for up to four athletes. Follow the included programming, or bring your own — we’ll count the reps.

Programming

A plan with a memory.

A coach doesn’t deal you a random deck, and neither does AutoBox. Every week is planned as a whole — hard days earn their rest, the same pattern never gets hammered two days running, and everything you log is on the books when the next session is written. Deliberate, not guessed.

  • Real 6-week cycles. Test → build → overload → retest → deload, with benchmark retests so the progress is measured, not vibes.
  • Strength resolved to your bar. Prescribed as %1RM + RPE, then resolved to each athlete’s exact load — four athletes, four different bars, same workout, same clock.
  • Four levels for every workout. Level 1, Level 2, RX, and Competitor, each written out completely — not an afterthought scale.
  • Written like a coach wrote it. Warm-up, skill, stimulus, strategy, scaling, cooldown — plus a “short on time” cut order for real mornings.
  • Equipment-aware. It programs the gym you have, not the gym in the stock photo.

5 rounds for time

  • 10 DB push press · 50/35 lb
  • 8 chest-to-bar pull-ups
  • 12/9 cal echo bike

Cap 9:00 · target RPE 7 · benchmark — you’ll retest this in week 5

Strength piece: back squat 5×3 @ 78% · RPE 8 — resolved per athlete: KEV 245 · MAJA 165 · SAM 135 · RUE 95. Same workout, same clock.

The floor

Your TV runs the floor.

One big screen, the whole gym: the running clock, every athlete’s movement, reps, rounds, and heart rate — readable mid-burpee from the far end of the driveway.

  • Up to 4 athletes, each tracked independently — nobody waits on anybody.
  • Staggered heats, right on the board. Heat 2 runs at +4:00 — two people share one erg without sharing a lane.
  • Live splits per round, so the trash talk is backed by data.

FIG. 02 — Heats are just clock offsets. Every athlete is tracked independently.

The camera

The camera counts. Hands stay on the bar.

Point a camera at the floor and AutoBox counts your reps — squats, burpees, pull-ups, deadlifts, twenty-plus movements — while you do exactly nothing about it. Everything runs on your machine. Footage never leaves the gym.

  • Hands-free counting. No clicker, no counting in your head at rep 40-something.
  • On-device, always. Only the count hits the board. Your squat face stays between you and the garage.
  • Ergs report for duty. Concept2 and Rogue stream straight onto the board — every tier-1 Bluetooth erg supported out of the gate.
REP 47On-device · nothing uploadedC2 erg · 1:52/500m

FIG. 03 — Rep Radar™ runs locally. The board only ever sees the number.

The watch

The watch runs cleanup.

The camera is the counter; your Apple Watch is the referee’s whistle. Missed rep? Tap to fix it without breaking stride. And when the workout leaves the garage, the watch goes with you.

  • Tap to fix. Adjust or undo a rep mid-set — sweaty, chalked, gloves on.
  • Crown picks the load. Spin to the dumbbell you actually grabbed; history stays honest.
  • Runs count too. Pace and distance stream from your wrist and land on your board, mid-workout.
  • Heart rate to the big screen — so the whole household knows who’s sandbagging.

How it works

Walk in. Flip the lights. Go.

After setup, your only job is showing up. The board handles the rest.

Set up once

Mac into the TV, watches on wrists, everyone picks a level. Fifteen minutes, one time.

Walk in

Today’s session is already on the TV — and everyone’s scaling is already set. You haven’t touched anything but the light switch.

3 · 2 · 1 · GO

The camera counts, the watch corrects, the ergs stream. Four lanes, four loads, one clock.

It’s on the board

Scores, PRs, and streaks land the second you drop. Tomorrow’s session is already planned around what you just did.

Running your own programming? Paste it in during setup — same board, same scoring, same bragging rights.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask.

Q.01

When does it ship?

This fall. The founding list gets the first invites and locks the founding price. If you want to start training today, AutoBox for iPhone is out now — same account, and everything you log carries onto the TV the day it arrives.

Q.02

Do I need CrossFit experience?

No. Every workout ships at four levels — Level 1, Level 2, RX, Competitor — each written out as its own complete session, and the Minimal track runs the same training on dumbbells, a kettlebell, and a rope. Four very different athletes can share one clock.

Q.03

What hardware do I need?

A Mac and any TV with an HDMI port. An Apple Watch per athlete is optional but great — fixes, loads, heart rate, and run tracking. A webcam adds camera counting, and Concept2 and Rogue ergs stream straight onto the board. No proprietary hardware, ever.

Q.04

Where does the camera footage go?

Nowhere. Rep Radar runs on your machine, and only the rep count makes it to the scoreboard. Footage never leaves the gym — your squat face stays between you and the garage.

Q.05

Does it work with the iPhone app?

Yes — same account, same history, same programming. The phone is your gym away from the floor: log a hotel workout Tuesday and it’s on the books when Wednesday gets planned.

Get on the floor first.

AutoBox TV arrives this fall. The founding list gets the first invites and locks the founding price — $24.99/mo, held for as long as you stay a member.

One email when the floor opens. Maybe two if we PR.
